چکیده
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a major public health problem. MCM4, constitutive member of the minichromosomal maintenance protein family, has been reported to play vital role in cancer malignancy behavior. However, function MCM4 HCC largely unknown. The present study explored specific HCC. data from datasets including TCGA and GTEx showed that was overexpressed significantly associated with poor prognosis. Immunohistochemistry results 102 patients suggested high-level expression correlated tumor size. Then series vivo vitro experiments were performed investigate cells. silencing suppressed cell proliferation sphere formation hepatoma Moreover, decreased growth tumors xenograft model. p62/sequestosome 1 in human colorectal carcinoma as a potent prognostic predictor associated with cell proliferation
p62/sequestosome 1 (p62) is a multi-domain protein that functions as a receptor for ubiquitinated targets in the selective autophagy and serves as a scaffold in various signaling cascades. p62 have been reported to be up-regulated in several human malignancies, but the biological roles and significance of p62 are still poorly understood in colorectal carcinoma. We immunohistochemically evaluate...
متن کاملCITED2 in breast carcinoma as a potent prognostic predictor associated with proliferation, migration and chemoresistance
CITED2 (Cbp/p300-interacting transactivator, with Glu/Asp-rich carboxy-terminal domain, 2) is a member of the CITED family and is involved in various cellular functions during development and differentiation. Mounting evidence suggests the importance of CITED in the progression of human malignancies, but the significance of CITED2 protein has not yet been examined in breast carcinoma. Therefore...
متن کاملPrognostic molecular markers in hepatocellular carcinoma (Review article
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the 5th commonest malignancy worldwide and is the third most common cause of cancer-related death. The prevalence is different in the world. The ability to predict patients at higher risk of recurrence and with a poor prognosis would help to guide surgical and chemotherapeutic treatment according to individual risk. As understanding of hepatocarcinogenesi...
متن کاملTACC2 (transforming acidic coiled‐coil protein 2) in breast carcinoma as a potent prognostic predictor associated with cell proliferation
Transforming acidic coiled-coil protein 2 (TACC2) belongs to TACC family proteins and involved in a variety of cellular processes through interactions with some molecules involved in centrosomes/microtubules dynamics. Mounting evidence suggests that TACCs is implicated in the progression of some human malignancies, but significance of TACC2 protein in breast carcinoma is still unknown. Therefor...
متن کاملChromatin assembly factor 1, subunit A (P150) facilitates cell proliferation in human hepatocellular carcinoma
Several studies have revealed that the abnormal expression of chromatin assembly factor 1, subunit A (P150) (CHAF1A) was involved in the development of some types of malignant tumors. However, CHAF1A expression and its role in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remain poorly characterized. In this study, we first investigated CHAF1A expression in six cell lines and 116 pairs of HCC and matched norm...
